My book, “The Path Home” is live. It is the second book I wrote, but for some reason, it was always one of my favorite. Oh, I know authors aren’t supposed to have favorite books, but just like parents don’t have favorite kids, all parents know the tiny secret that they do. But we’ll keep that secret safe for now.

“The Path Home” has always had a special place in my heart and I am not sure why. There was nothing spectacular going on with my life when I wrote it and epiphanies were all dried up when I hit the save button. I don’t even remember going out to eat to celebrate that I had finished writing it.

But I love it all the same.

Now it’s out there. Just as a parent has to let their kid out of the safety of the house and push them in to kindergarten, so now, “The Path Home” is out there for strangers to pick on, laugh at, but hopefully most will love it. I have no control over that. I just did the best I could and now I hope that it will succeed in the world.

This isn’t a post where I beg you to buy my book, although of course, I hope you do. It is more just sharing  how much I care about it and how I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you to all my supporters.

“The Path Home” Description:

A chance encounter at a bookstore…the start of a sweet love story.

When Mr. Dominguez runs into Antoinette at their beachside community bookstore, the connection between them is instantaneous and unmistakable. They seem to be made for each other. There is just one problem.

He is a priest, and she doesn’t know.

Father Dominguez must decide if his true path is with Antoinette, or with the God he has always been devoted to. And he must do it soon, before he breaks not only his vows, but also Antoinette’s heart.

Deadlist Catch

So here I am. I keep throwing out my pots into the sea of readers. I spend hours on end letting them soak. I bring them up! Yeah! Readers. And more than I expected.

I move on to the next spot. Throw down my pots with some tasty bait. Haul them up. Nothing.

I move on to other grounds that I have heard are fertile. In go the cages. I even blessed them this time. After a good long soak up into the boat each one comes. Empty. Continue Reading »

I had a chance to scratch two of those tickets and was excited to find out that one of them won $10,000. For the next few minutes, Continue Reading »
